Case

A 45-year-old male was operated of a Zenker's diverticulum transorally with laser on June 2022.

The surgery was not fully satisfactory due to a relatively bad exposure.

Currently, the patient has NO dysphagia but still experiences regurgitation.

Examination Findings:

FEES: No residue in the hypopharynx; intermittent filling and emptying.

Esophagram: Residual Zenker's diverticulum, although marsupialized.

Proposed surgery: Transcervical excision of Zenker's diverticulum vs diverticulopexy.
